Temporary Travel Document (Certificate of Identity)
The High Commission with the approval from the Maldives Immigration provides temporary travel document/certificate of identity to Maldivians who do not have a passport to travel back to the Maldives. Travel documents are usually issued for new-born babies, and for those who have lost their existing passport. Travel documents are ONLY issued to fly back to the Maldives.
Application requirements
- Application for certificate of identity form
- Maldives Immigration Form (IM32)
- Passport size photo that complies with the immigration guidelines
- Pakistani Birth Certificate (in case of newborn)
- Marriage Certificate (in case of newborn)
- Passport of both parents (in case of newborn)
- Police Report (in case of lost passport)
- Confirmed flight ticket
