Maldivians who marry in Pakistan are required to submit a letter of verification issued from the High Commission to register their marriage at the Family Court in the Maldives.  
 
Individuals requesting for the service is required to submit ‘Application for registration of marriages aboard’ form to the Mission along with the required documents.   

1. Original of the Marriage certificate that has been attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan
2. Copy of the ID cards or Passport if a foreign national
3. Copy of the ID of Wali or Passport if a foreign national
4. Copy of the ID card of the two witnesses or Passport if a foreign national
5. Copy of the ID card of the person who married the couple or Passport if a foreign national
